Emergency Response
The Sudden Onset Emergency Response Project (SOEP) is being implemented by TSDO to assist people affected by natural disasters in Afghanistan’s central region. This project includes thirteen central Afghan provinces:
Kapisa, Paktiya, Paktika, Khost, Ghazni, Parwan, Panjshir, Wardak, Bamiyan, Dykondi, and Ghore.
The project’s mode of operation is in-kind food assistance. Approximately 5500 households are expected to receive assistance over the course of a year. WFP funded this project, and TSDO distributed food in Loger, Parwn, and Bamian as part of it.The project will run from March 2023 to December 2023.
