Agriculture is a dominant sector in Afghanistan’s economy and the livelihood of more than 60 % of the population depends on agriculture business. Therefore, the commitment of TSDO is to actively and effectively contribute to improving and modernization of agriculture and the animal husbandry sector. Thus, TSDO has provided awareness on improved seeds, saplings, fertilizers, and training on better practices on planting in greenhouses, orchards, Kin gardens, and nurseries, as well as for improving woman-headed HH, provided goads for 600 widows HHs in districts of Mar- ja, Lashkargah, and Nad ali of Helmand province.
