Membership with Food Security and Agriculture Cluster (FSAC)
On December 20, 2022, TSDO joined the Food Security and Agriculture Cluster (FSAC). This cluster was formed in Afghanistan back in 2008 and is jointly led by WFP and FAO, with NRC serving as an NGO co-chair. Since October, the FSAC has benefited from having a dedicated Cluster Coordinator.
Membership with Agency Coordinating body for Afghan Relief and Development
(ACBAR): On January 01, 2023, TSDO became an active member of ACBAR, the Agency Coordinating Body for Afghan Relief & development. ACBAR functions as a national, independent NGO that offers a platform for national and international NGOs in Afghanistan to share information and network with each other.
Membership with Afghanistan Nutrition Cluster
On December 3, 2023, TSDO joined the Afghanistan Nutrition Cluster. This cluster serves as a coordination mechanism with the goal of ensuring cohesive, strategic, and efficient emergency nutrition responses. It is jointly led by UNICEF and ACF/AHH.
Membership with Emergency Shelter and Non-Food Item Cluster (ES/NFI)
TSDO joined the ES/NFI cluster on November 26, 2023. This cluster, established in 2008, is jointly led by IOM and UNHCR for emergency response to disasters in Afghanistan.
Membership with Afghanistan WASH Cluster
On October 1, 2022, TSO became an active participant in the Afghanistan WASH cluster. This cluster, co-led by UNICEF and DACAAR, works to improve and reinforce humanitarian coordination for water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), aiming for timely, reliable, and high-quality WASH outcomes.
